Jennifer Markides, PhD, is a member of the Métis Nation of Alberta and Assistant Professor in the Werklund School of Education and the Faculty of Social Work at theUniversity of Calgary. Her research focuses on the experiences of youth post-disaster and enhancing Indigenous education in schools.
