Melanie D. Janzen is Associate Professor in the Department of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning and is a research affiliate with the Centre for Human Rights Research at the University of Manitoba. Her SSHRC-funded research, with Dr. Phelan, examines the emotional toll of teachers’ obligations and their disengagement from the profession.
