Marie has had the opportunity to work in Australian and Canadian schools since beginning teaching in 1991. This work has been predominantly in public schools with students from Kindergarten to Grade 7. Marie has undertaken various roles including classroom teacher, school counsellor, Music specialist teacher, Vice Principal and Principal. Marie’s understanding, passion, and continued learning about self-regulation has been shaped and influenced by the work of Dr Stuart Shanker in Ontario, Canada.
