Lora Appel received her PhD in Health Informatics from Rutgers University, and is currentlya research scientist at OpenLab, University Health Network, Toronto. She leads “PrescribingVR (VRx)” a collection of studies that evaluate AR/VR/MR in clinical settings, and is also involved in the design of a new curriculum incorporating AI and VR for the School of Nursing at York University.
