Retired Well at Work Advisors Program Lead
Kim Weatherby recently retired as the Program Lead of EdCan’s Well at Work Advisors program, where she played a key role in logistics, research, stakeholder relations, and strategic planning. Kim’s objective is to encourage greater awareness-building, capacity-building, and stakeholder alignment in BC on the topic of K-12 workplace wellbeing while leveraging key findings to inform the work of other provinces.

She has led mental health work at the Joint Consortium for School Health, the B.C. Ministry of Education, and DASH BC. Since 2017 her primary focus has been workplace wellbeing.
Recent assignments include co-founding BC’s K-12 Staff Wellbeing Network and writing Principal and Vice-Principal Stress and Burnout: A Barrier to Student Success for the BC Principals’ and Vice Principals’ Association (BCPVPA). Kim was the program lead for WellAhead/DASH BC’s Mental Wellbeing Coaching Initiative. She was also a member of the McConnell Foundation’s K-12 Staff Wellbeing Design.
