Emi has served as Superintendent of Education for the past five years, overseeing 9 elementary schools and 2 secondary schools. Her portfolio responsibilities include Policy, Risk Management, and Student Health. With nearly three decades of experience in education, she is dedicated to implementing practices that develop safe and inclusive learning environments for every learner. Emi’s leadership prioritizes student achievement and well-being, while empowering staff to create inclusive, supportive learning environments for all. She strives to ensure that schools are safe, welcoming, and respectful spaces for all students and staff. When she’s not working, Emi enjoys staying active through running and CrossFit, always pushing herself to new personal bests.
