Dr. Souhail Raja Soujah

Souhail Soujah is the Superintendent of the South Slave Divisional Educational Council, formerly Superintendent in the Yukon at the Department of Education. Souhail stated his career in 1995 as an Educational Assistant in Golden, BC and have worked his way up through the system as a teacher, Vice principal, Principal and Superintendent in various jurisdictions across Canada from Coast to Coast to Coast. His interests, by virtue of the natural progression of his career, have focused on Indigenous Education and the development of Sustainable Leadership. He has been fortunate to have experienced education in all its facets and is forever impressed with the quality of education districts across Canada continue to provide despite diminishing resources, mounting challenges and deteriorating public perception. His passions aside from education are his wife and dog.
