Dr. Selma Hageleit-Smith

Selma Hageleit-Smith, Ed.D., is Surrey School District’s Director of Instruction for Continuous Learning. She has over 25 years of experience in supporting and leading school communities, as a school counsellor, school-based administrator and district leader. With her background in school safety, comprehensive school health and inclusive education, she is committed to cultivating spaces of belonging and connection that empowers all learners to actively drive their own learning experiences. By empowering all learners to create limitless futures for themselves, their loves ones , their communities and the world, we will see a better tomorrow.
