Marius est présentement conférencier, coach et consultant. Il met sa passion pour le leadership au service de l’éducation. Sa mission est d’aider et d’inspirer les leaders à exprimer leur plein potentiel, à avoir un impact positif sur les gens autour d’eux et à obtenir de meilleurs résultats dans toutes les sphères de leur vie.
Depuis 18 ans, il exerce un leadership en éducation, particulièrement dans le domaine de l’enseignement et de l’apprentissage à l’ère du numérique. Au cours de sa carrière, il a occupé divers postes dont ceux de conseiller pédagogique, de coordonnateur responsable de l’intégration des compétences du 21e siècle, de direction adjointe à l’intermédiaire et au secondaire. Il a aussi occupé le poste de Leader pédagogique au sein de l’équipe TacTIC, au CFORP.
Ses diverses expériences et ses compétences en innovation, en leadership, en pédagogie et en andragogie l’amènent à accompagner des directions d’école et des conseils scolaires ainsi qu’à collaborer avec divers partenaires en éducation ou avec des entreprises dans des projets et des initiatives qu’ils mettent en oeuvre ou dans l’organisation d’événements.

Pendant ses années d’enseignement, François Guité a toujours exploré les nouvelles tendances pédagogiques. Intrigué dès le début par les technologies de l’information, il forme un groupe de travail pour explorer leurs contributions à l’enseignement-apprentissage. Cette aventure mena à des études postuniversitaires et un séjour dans le secteur privé pour L’Infobourg. De retour à l’enseignement, il poursuit son expérimentation didactique dans une sorte de recherche dans l’action. Plus récemment, il s’est intéressé à l’autogestion des apprentissages.
Ayant trouvé dans les réseaux sociaux en ligne une formidable source de formation professionnelle continue, il anime depuis 2004 Relief, ce blogue éducationnel.
Plus tard, il a joint les rangs du Centre de transfert pour la réussite éducative du Québec (CTREQ) où il a coordonné le Réseau d’information pour la réussite éducative (RIRE), un portail lancé à l’automne 2009.
Il agit actuellement comme consultant au ministère de l’Éducation, de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche (MEESR) du Québec.
Roberto Gauvin est présentement un spécialiste de l’Éducation et entrepreneur d’école pour CyberNB, un organisme de service spécial d’OpportunitésNB. Il détient un baccalauréat en éducation secondaire (majeure en mathématique et mineure en physique) de l’Université de Moncton ainsi qu’un certificat post-baccalauréat et une maîtrise en administration scolaire de l’Université du Manitoba. Sa carrière dans le domaine de l’éducation a débuté en 1988 comme enseignant en immersion française. Il a travaillé dans l’Ouest canadien comme enseignant de sciences en immersion française et comme directeur adjoint d’une école intermédiaire et d’une autre secondaire. C’est en septembre 2000 qu’il a eu la chance de revenir dans son coin de pays et de devenir le directeur du Centre d’apprentissage du Haut-Madawaska (CAHM) jusqu’en juin 2018.

Grant Frost is an educational commentator and a teacher of almost 25 years. He spent 10 years working in various First Nations communities before moving to Halifax where he has held a number of positions including school based program co-ordinator and department head. Joel Westheimer is University Research Chair in Democracy and Education at the University of Ottawa and education columnist for CBC Radio’s Ottawa Morning show. He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University and his B.S.E. from Princeton University. He is co-founder and executive director of Democratic Dialogue, a research collaborative dedicated to the critical exploration of democratic ideals in education and society. Westheimer’s recent award-winning book is Pledging Allegiance: The Politics of Patriotism in America’s Schools (foreword by the late Howard Zinn). He is also author of the critically acclaimed Among Schoolteachers: Community, Autonomy and Ideology in Teachers’ Work. He’s currently working on his third book, Restoring the Public in Public Education. He publishes widely in newspapers, magazines and scholarly journals and addresses radio and television audiences on shows such as Good Morning America, More to Life, The Agenda, NBC TV News, C-Span, NPR, and CBC. He is recipient of the Canadian Education Association’s Whitworth Award and Knight Fellow for Civic Engagement in Higher Education. Michelle M. Hogue is an associate professor and Coordinator of the First Nations’ Transition Program at the University of Lethbridge. Her teaching and research center on the engagement and success of Aboriginal students in the sciences and mathematics by building bridges between Aboriginal and Western ways of knowing and learning using culturally relevant methodological approaches.
With expertise in curriculum development, interpretive inquiry, and duoethnography, she is interested in bridging paradigms and Indigenous perspectives in curriculum and in the successful transition of Aboriginal students to and through post-secondary education. Dr. Hogue was the recipient of the 2012 CEA Pat Clifford Award for Early Career Research in Education, for her work in improving attendance, engagement, and success for aboriginal learners.

He consults with organisations and schools, and has led a range of ground-breaking, innovative, international education programmes. Cynthia Richards is passionate about education and working with leaders, educators and parents to provide the best education for each student. She has been employed within the New Brunswick Public Library system for the past 24 years. Dr. Steve Cardwell has recently been appointed as Associate Vice President – Academic at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU). Steve has been an educator for over 37 years. He began his career teaching senior high school science and biology. During the past two and half years, Steve has served as Professor of Teaching in the Department of Educational Administration and Leadership at UBC. Prior to this, he was the Superintendent/CEO with the Vancouver School District and previously Superintendent in the Delta School District. He holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership (SFU) and an MA and BSc from UBC.
Steve has been a leader throughout his career including serving as President of the BC School Superintendents’ Association (BCSSA). He is a Director on the Science World Board, a member of the BC Technology Education Careers Council, serves on the Canadian Education Association Council and Editorial Board, and is a trustee on the Board for Learning Forward. Steve is also a Scholar-Practitioner with the Education University of Hong Kong.
Steve was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2013 for his outstanding service to public education. In 2015, he received the Distinguished Service Award from the BCSSA for his long contributions to the field. In 2015, he was selected as one of UBC Faculty of Education’s 100 Alumni.
Zoe has taught in the classroom for the last 16 years as well as consultant and leadership roles intermittently. Zoe is a TedxOntarioEd speaker and an award-winning Educator that includes the 2014 Canadian Microsoft Educator (MIE) of the Year, and 2016 First Place Ken Spencer National Award for Teaching and Innovation. Corinne Payne est activement engagée dans le monde de l’éducation depuis 2002, soit dès la rentrée scolaire de sa première enfant à la maternelle. Élue présidente de la Fédération en janvier 2015, Corinne Payne en assurait l’intérim depuis novembre 2014. Elle était vice-présidente de la fédération depuis 2012 et déléguée au Conseil général en provenance du Comité de parents de la Commission scolaire de la Seigneurie-des-Mille-Iles depuis 2010. Au sein de cette commission scolaire, elle est membre du Conseil d’établissement de l’école Au Coeur du boisée depuis 2002, membre du Comité de parents depuis 2004 et commissaire représentante du Comité de parents depuis 2010.
Sébastien Stasse, M.Ed., est un passionné d’éducation, de pédagogie et de technologie. Acteur du milieu scolaire depuis plus de 25 ans et novateur dans l’intégration et la mobilisation des technologies informatiques en enseignement, il occupe aujourd’hui un poste de gestionnaire dans une école communautaire arménienne de Montréal.
