This session will explore the challenges and possibilities faced by educators in responding to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action. By unpacking some of the ways that colonialism continues to dominate education and strategies for incorporating Indigenous content in safer and more respectful ways, participants will be guided to reflect on their relationship to this work and provided with recommendations and resources to support future learning for themselves and their students.
