Alexis Hamlor

Dr. Alexis L. Hamlor is an educational leader and scholar-practitioner with more than a decade of experience across NYC public and charter schools. She has served as a special education teacher, mentor, instructional coach, and Dean of Special Education, partnering with school leaders to strengthen co-teaching, differentiation, and systems that improve outcomes for students with disabilities. She writes for The Educator’s Room and other education outlets and is the author of multiple books, including a recent teen title on mental health and self-care.
