Fireside Chat with Andy Hargreaves: Teaching in Changing Times

« The rules of the world are changing. It is time for the rules of teaching and teachers’ work to change with them. »

Andy Hargreaves wrote these words back in 1994, and they are just as poignant today. On February 25, 2027, Andy Hargreaves will be joining us for an interactive fireside chat reflecting on his forthcoming book, Changing Teachers for Changing Times: Teaching to repair the world together. Dr. Hargreaves will begin with a brief introduction, before engaging in a moderated conversation with EdCan Network members.

Dr. Andy Hargreaves is Visiting Professor at the University of Ottawa in Canada and Research Professor at Boston College in the US. He is an elected member of the US National Academy of Education, former President of the International Congress of School Effectiveness and Improvement (2018-2020), former Adviser in Education to the Premier of Ontario (2015-2018), and current adviser to the First Minister of Scotland. Andy is co-founder and president of the ARC Education Collaboratory.

Please note that this event will NOT be recorded.
