Dr. Janani Ganapathi Iyer

Janani Ganapathi Iyer, Ph.D., leads RISC’s Education, Training and Collaborations division, overseeing the design and delivery of high-impact programs that strengthen educational ecosystems and workforce readiness. She drives funding efforts and strategic alliances with industry, community, and educational institutions to fuel growth and educational excellence. Her career spans roles across academia, industry, and multilateral organizations, including the United Nations Capital Development Fund, (UNCDF), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), International Organization for Migration (IOM), and European Broadcasting Union (EBU), amongst others, where she contributed to advancing cutting-edge research initiatives, large-scale academic programs, and international collaborations.
