Our special Greening of Schools issue will focus on such an urgent issue, not only for our schools, but for our collective future. We will explore evidence-based leadership in environmental education programs and hands-on environmental learning, including how climate change is being taught in our classrooms. From “greener” school design and “eco-certification” of schools to showcasing Indigenous education programs that are teaching traditional connections to and on the land, there is no shortage of green ideas in our education systems to share with you.
