Dr. Stephen MacGregor

Stephen MacGregor is an assistant professor in the Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary. His research centers on knowledge mobilization as a mechanism for educational change, with an emphasis on leadership practices within increasingly complex education systems. He focuses on three interrelated strands of inquiry: (1) the relational networks among universities and secondary and elementary schools, (2) the influence of positive school leadership on the mobilization of research-informed teaching practices, and (3) the mechanisms and impacts of co-production as one approach to knowledge mobilization.
