Don A. Klinger, PhD, is the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Te Wānanga Toi Tangata Division of Education, University of Waikato, having previously been at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ont. His research explores measurement theory and the use of assessments to support teaching, learning and policy across education contexts, with a focus on identifying and reducing learning inequities exposed through large-scale measures of educational outcomes.
