Get your entire class involved with free resources from Freggie Children’s program

Are you looking for resources that will get all the youth in your class excited and engaged as they learn more about healthy lifestyles? Freggie Children’s program, a youth component of the Canadian Produce Marketing Association’s (CPMA) Half Your Plate program, offers free updated resources and lesson plans to support parents and educators in encouraging children to eat more fruits and vegetables.

Offered in both English and French, the program provides parents and teachers with simple and fun resources to support them in educating children about fruits and vegetables and the important role they play in improving their overall health.

Freggie Children’s program offers educators an easy-to-use curriculum for download. This curriculum was recently reviewed and updated by health professionals as well as education experts from Agriculture in the Classroom.

The curriculum is also available in English and French and has easy to implement lessons that are suitable for grades 1 to 6. The plans cover required curriculum topics and include fun activities with printables for students that encourage them to think about fruits and vegetables.
