EdCan Network Announcement

We would like to inform our members and partners of an important change in our staff team. After 17 years of dedicated service to the Canadian Education Association/EdCan Network, Max Cooke will transition from his role as EdCan President and CEO to become Head of BTS Spark Canada (a global not-for-profit initiative providing schools with access to world-class coaching and leadership development).

Max has been instrumental in leading EdCan’s strategic initiatives to enhance the capacity of education professionals. This includes our network’s strategic current focus on fostering healthier workplace environments that allow better outcomes for everyone in K-12 education.

On behalf of the EdCan Network’s Board of Directors, I would like to thank Max for his unwavering commitment to equity and systemic change in our education systems. We are excited about his new role, where he will continue to support our school leaders to do their best work.

The EdCan Network team remains strong and committed to continuing to serve the education sector through our new strategic plan. We appreciate your continued support as we navigate this transition.
